Back in 2005 you publish...To whom it may concern,
Back in 2005 you published a story about a man named Walter Mann that was released from jail after spending 15 months in jail. Well I am his daughter Rosealexander Mann. While he was in jail I was in foster care(I was placed around the same time he enter jail), and I am the only one of in his family that never left Dallas, TX. I not even sure if he fully understood my economic situation at the time. The Child Protective Services refused to help me locate my daddy. I was left with a broken heart and nowhere to turn. I did not even know where to start. And when I called the Dallas police department to file a missing persons report they told me “it was not a police matter”. I aged out of care last year now I am trying to find my daddy. I miss him so much that it hurts. Life has been terrible hard without the opportunity to share some of my proudest moment without him. I am now a college student. If you can help me and my family reunited with my father I will endlessly thank you. My life has been pretty rough, but I overcame all obstacles and I am still her standing tall. My father would be so proud of me. I know that you do not know me at all. But please help me I do not think I can go on much longer without the love of my life. He is my heart and soul, I cry every night!!! The judge who had him arrested on the writ never appointed an attorney. If he had been, I doubt he would have been in jail for 15 months.

Thanks for picking up the story!123txpublicdefender123https://www.blogger.com/profile/16074278445586583355noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8597101.post-1135635997416407912005-12-26T16:26:00.000-06:002005-12-26T16:26:00.000-06:00That story is absolutely appauling. Why every county in Texas doesn't have a properly funded public defender's office to match their District Attorney's offices is beyond me.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
