Now that we know that he's in a few concerned judges pockets, it would be nice to know their names. Why she failed to name them is any one's guess.

Dutton - That's what you get when you vote straight ticket and do so without a clue as to what in the hell you are voting for.

I blame the voters and yet it will be the voters (citizens in the 'R','D' & Inbetweeners gangs) that will fall victim to Texas' corrupted juries on the front end and again all the way to lunch recess on trial day with the part time juries. 2015 and all we are getting is the same ol same ol.
Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8597101.post-90905178117662813772015-05-13T11:32:48.427-05:002015-05-13T11:32:48.427-05:00I wonder if pick-a-pal occurs in regular juries. I saw a group of individuals over and over during that time and assumed they worked there, that is until it was time to pick a jury in my case. I recognized many faces including my next door neighbor of ten years who tried in vain to say he didn't know me.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8597101.post-20257638415858105092015-05-12T08:19:58.540-05:002015-05-12T08:19:58.540-05:00Once again I'm forced to remind your readers o...Once again I'm forced to remind your readers of just why judges will not allow a change. Simply put, too much power is derived from having the ability to choose grand jurors.

The following is an example of the deep-rooted culture of corruption in Harris County:

http://blog.bennettandbennett.com/2011/11/live-by-the-hatchet-die-by-the-hatchet/

And here is an example of that corruption extending itself all the way to the governor's office (for those unaware, David Medina was Rick Perry's personal attorney before he appointed him to the Texas Supreme Court):

http://www.nbcnews.com/id/22734397/ns/us_news-crime_and_courts/t/da-drops-grand-jury-indictment-against-judge/#.VVH7vPBpG1kTriggerMortishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13488782801153643342noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8597101.post-63792604183908463092015-05-12T08:19:38.176-05:002015-05-12T08:19:38.176-05:00Perhaps between now and the next legislative sessi...Perhaps between now and the next legislative session, a sound system of reforms can be worked on for them to get behind. Given the sheer number of cases heard in Harris County, it will still amount to an assembly line where there just isn't time for members to look at events in detail, no matter who gets picked to serve, but at least it might remove the fantasy of discrimination some try to sell.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
