By popular demand: We have baby pictures

Let's call this brief departure from Grits' usual topics a point of personal privilege. Quite a few folks have asked me to put up pictures of my new grandaughter - really the child of my goddaughter Mikel, who my wife and I raised after she was eleven. Now she's 22 with a four-month old infant, Tytionna. Here are a few greatest hits from the ones I have available for upload:

    Awwww...what a beautiful little girl. And yes, I can totally see the resemblance. Fortunately for her (as many people have said to me about my girls), it's with your wife. :-) Congrats to all!

    Such a cutie. Love her eyes.

    For the most resemblance you have to have the same expression. So, next time if she has her pretty eyebrows up, your eyebrows should consider doing the same.
