Knitting police tape?

Just in case any of you knitting hobbyists out there were wondering what to get me for Christmas this year, here's an item on knitting faux police tape. Perhaps it could double as a scarf? The idea is featured on the cover of the current Craft magazine. Via Graffiti Research Labs.
