New Texas DWI law blogger
Thanks to Jamie Spencer at the Austin DWI blog for letting us know that:
I followed the link you labeled "If Police Refuse Field Sobriety Tests, Shouldn't You?" and it doesn't match the article it points to. The article tells the story of a police officer who refused the CHEMICAL test (and turned in his badge) after being stopped for DUI.
ReplyDeleteI would like to see an article about Field Sobriety Tests, if there is one.
JDG, I'm not sure if it's what you're looking for, but let me suggest you start at Larry Taylor's shop over at the DUI blog.
ReplyDeleteDriving while intoxicated is an interesting dilemma. If in fact the individual is intoxicated, the probably of injury or death to another person is high. If the individual isn't intoxicated but is still driving recklessly, the risk is still there. Temporary restriction on driving is a preventive measure.
