Eighth Grits for Breakfast Blogiversary

I just realized that today, Oct. 6, is the eighth anniversary of the first of 6,886 blog posts (as of this one) which have now been published on Grits for Breakfast. Thanks for reading, commenting, subscribing, and for a few of you, even donating. Who knows what tomorrow may bring, but for those interested in what was written yesterday, here's the form to subscribe to a daily email giving you Grits' previous day's linked headlines.

How does one celebrate a blogiversary, incidentally? Feel free to celebrate by hitting the PayPal "payment" or "subscribe" buttons in the right-hand column. That helps cover expenses so that this site, which pays no salary, at least doesn't cost me money to operate. Otherwise, lift up a glass on Grits' behalf, pass along the link friends or colleagues who may be interested in the blog, and thanks as always for visiting.

  4. Cheers Amigo! Ditto on 3:26. Although you don't come right out and say it, the Texas criminal justice system is mostly chasing a bunch of witches around with a hot poker.

  6. Thanks for what you do. I don't always agree with you (nor do we need to) but you're the best "news feed" out there for criminal justice matters. I'm continually amazed at the depth and breadth of your posting.
