Data sources on racial disparities in the Texas justice system

Been asked a few times now by reporters where to get data about racial disparities in the Texas criminal-justice system. Were I assigned that task, here's where I'd start:

  1. Where is the link to the Texas County Jails COVID Data/Case Reports it was located at the below link. This link finalizes the data on May 31, 2020.

    The Texas Jail Standards Commission Coronavirus reports released and updated on a regular basis: 10 jail facilities in the state. (TCJS COVID-19 Form A)

    I didn't include that in the list bc it's not broken out by race.

  4. Not at the level the TCJC dashboard has for the other three. This report includes data on disparities in drug arrests. Here's data on disparities at traffic stops.
