Bet they already have an untraceable paper trail now in place. It's called cash payment.
I'm sure they'll find ways to profit. Like the way Smith County officials used to get money from the commissary vendor through the "K-9 account".
Is it legal for the sheriff to take excess money after feeding jailed inmates? Doesn't this tempt the sheriff to feed as little as possible so the left over funds can be pocketed by the sheriff? Seems illegal to me.
