Travel blogging

If Kathy's going to make me sit in an Internet cafe so she can check her damn email, you KNOW I'm going to blog about our trip. See an account of our first day in Mexico on my personal blog, Huevos Rancheros, including Lucha Libre wrestlers helping protest election fraud in the square outside the Palacio Nacional.

I just realized something while sitting in my office surrounded by a mountain of cases and oppressive heat. I am SOOO friggin jealous!

It's cool that you got to see the Lucha Libre wrestlers...which many Americans just will never understand. It because they're cheesy that makes them so popular!

Our wrestlers aren't as cheesy in the ring, but the story lines add extra cheese.

Scott, Our youngest son, Amos, drove down to Veracruz yesterday for a wedding and will be making a trip to Chalapa this week. Our son, Adam, studied for a semester in Chalapa. Small world. Nancy

Wow, Nancy, I wish I'd known. We were in Veracruz yesterday too (right now we're in Tlacotoplan a bit south of there in the lake district).

Actually, I bet Adam is having a great time. Veracruz was rocking last night, with thousands and thousands of people out partying along the boardwalk. Xalapa's a neat place, too. I had no idea of yall's connection to it. Best,
