To celebrate the end of bill filing at the Lege, Kathy and I went to see George Carlin in San Antonio last night. He opened with a brilliant diatribe that's apparently the opening passage from his new book, When Will Jesus Bring the Pork Chops?, which definitely goes on the pleasure reading list for when I find some down time. The monologue will also be the opening segment of his next HBO special, he announced, which will be his 13th since 1979 -- it will air in November.
