Attention: Bill Fitzgerald and Kathy Cline,Rebuild Confidence in the Criminal Justice System & Ensure Innocent Individuals Are Not Sent to Prison. Very fitting article for you two to read. Maybe just the guilty should go to jail.
Novel idea.
This is a little off topic from the post, but relative to Texas and it's government.
There are a couple of articles at HuffPo about Texas's Board of Education and proposed changes to history curriculum (or least textbooks). I love reading the comment threads. Wow, there is a real groundswell of support for Governor Goodhair's threat to secede. All from residents of the other 49 reality based states.
Wow - Congress is easing reentry into the workforce to help the economy. How about the convicted teens who had consenual sex with an underage female. The must be on the Registered Sex Offender List for life thanks to Gov Goodhair who vetoed Todd Smiths bill which gave judges the discretion to not have them register. On the list, they have extreme difficulties finding jobs or places to live. Way to go Gov.
BWIlliams, Don't worry the list will extend to include new classes of the 'untouchables' in the new society of GoodHair .. Soon Drunk Drivers, Wife beaters, Drug Users will all be on a registry as well. Since this will include some very important people not only in the legislature, but in the more elite circles in Texas, I can only imagine the dances that will be going on in the capital....
