- Virgina's legislative session just ended without re-authorizing red light camera systems, which were operating there in seven cities. The Virginia House voted against the cameras last month.
- The New Hampshire House last week defeated red light cameras by a 2-1 majority, and
- The Indiana House, too, defeated a bill authorizing red light cameras by an overwhelming 76-18 vote.

Red light cameras going down everywhere
Three state legislatures last week rejected systems that give tickets to red light runners based on surveillance cameras at intersections.

They are trying to get that in Alabama this year. It has met stiff resistance so far though.
I think it might come up again next week.
