Gathering biometric data on drivers back up this morning
HB 2337 allowing the Texas Department of Public Safety to gather a database of biometric facial recognition information on Texas drivers and ID card holders is up at 8 a.m. in a re-scheduled hearing of the House Defense Affairs Committee. I'll be there to testify, then I'm tied up most of the day, but check out prior Grits coverage for more on the subject:
