Empowering victims through restorative justice

Register here for a policy primer and lunch in Austin on June 28 sponsored by the Texas Public Policy Foundation on empowering victims through restorative justice. (Bexar County probation director Bill Fitzgerald will be one of the speakers, so his employees should feel free to attend if they can or to suggest any relevant questions for him in the comments.) It's being organized by past Grits guest blogger Marc Levin from TPPF's Center for Effective Justice. I just signed up so maybe I'll see you there.

It may sound stupid but we are attending on North Congress Avenue? It fits the zip code but it could confuse the out of town foks.

That's right, north of the river.

Please ask Bill if he uses any of the restorative justice in Bexar County or will he in the future?
If so what will he use and when?
