Indigent Defense Task Force Reviews Legislative Results
See a summary from the Texas Task Force on Indigent Defense for a final summary of legislation related to indigent defense topics and the Fair Defense Act. UPDATE 7/21 - this link appears to be temporarily down, in fact not just this link but the entire Texas state court website. I'm going to leave it up for now in hopes the IT guys over there will get their act together. NUTHER UPDATE: Working again now. All's well.
