Grits, Texas bloggers honored in public defender blog awards
I'm pleased and proud to announce that Grits for Breakfast received an "Editor's Choice Award" in the prestigious Public Defender Blawg Awards, "for outstanding achievement and inspiration."
I'm also pleased that Texans were well represented among the victors: The PD blogger in Dallas at The Wretched of the Earth picked up two well-deserved awards, for "best writing" and "best blog that deals with actual law stuff," while our friend at Injustice Anywhere, a former Dallas PD who recently moved to Washington State, took the prize for "best title of a blog that reflects something about the job." (Both of these fine bloggers were runners up in multiple other categories.) Winners may tack this stylin' memento onto our blog sidebars:
Congrats to all the winners and thanks to Greg Worthen at PDStuff for hosting the awards and for the much-appreciated kudos.
