310 bills pre-filed Monday at Texas Lege

Bill filing at the Texas Legislature for the 80th session began yesterday, and here's the list of bills lawmakers proposed on the first day. Legislation targeting immigrants and sex offenders appear to be the popular flavors of the month, but there were good bills filed, too. I'll look through them and post a few highlights later.

I know I'll be following some of these bills. After all, Texas really does need a "state tie."
